Welcome to Forij. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use Forij.
1. The service
Forij is a pantry tracker that lets you log groceries, get expiry reminders, share a household fridge, and generate AI-assisted recipes from what you have on hand.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA/UK).
- You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
- One person per account; do not share login credentials. Use household invites instead.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans (Plus, Pro) are billed monthly through Stripe.
- Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. You can cancel anytime from Account → Manage subscription; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
- Free-tier limits (scans, recipes) and household size limits may change with notice.
4. AI-generated content
Recipes, ingredient identifications, and other AI outputs are provided "as-is" for informational purposes only. They may be inaccurate. Always verify ingredients, allergens, cooking temperatures, and food-safety guidance independently before consuming. Forij is not a substitute for medical, dietary, or food-safety advice.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the service or its APIs.
- Upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
- Use Forij to spam other people via household invites.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the data you put into Forij. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display it solely to operate the service for you and your household.
7. Termination
You can delete your account anytime from Account → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
8. Disclaimers
FORIJ IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FORIJ AND ITS PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) WHAT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) US$50.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except where local consumer law gives you a non-waivable right to a different forum.
